Frequently asked questions.

What’s included on my charter?

We provide all necessary Georgia and South Carolina State Fishing Licenses. However, to protect the fishery, we operate as a catch-and-release service.

The start time will be coordinated directly with the captain before your trip. Tide stages and wind conditions greatly influence the type of fishing we’ll do, so being flexible and willing to fish during the optimal times will give you the best chance for success.

The meeting location will also be decided in advance, with several convenient options available.

Our trips are family-friendly! We love introducing children to the water and igniting a passion for fishing. Please let us know your child's age, interests, and skill level so we can tailor the trip to their needs.

What’s biting?

We target redfish year-round, but we also have a variety of other species including speckled trout, flounder, black drum, and sheepshead. During the Spring, Summer and Fall months we see migratory fish passing through, such as triple tail, cobia, jacks, albies, and even tarpon.

What do I need to bring?

You’ll be fishing aboard a 18’ technical poling skiff. There's a cooler for food and beverages, along with some storage space for your personal items, but it’s a compact boat, so pack lightly.

We provide water and ice, but feel free to bring additional food and beverages.

If you have foul-weather gear, bring it along. Coastal Georgia weather can change quickly, and a brief thunderstorm in the middle of a sunny day is not unusual.

Sunscreen, Bug spray, Polarized Sunglasses, and comfortable shoes.

When should I plan?

It's best to reach out to us as soon as you start considering potential dates for your trip. Planning ahead will help ensure you secure the best tide windows for your experience.

Where should I stay?

When choosing a place to stay, the downtown district is typically the most central location in Savannah. With easy access to great food and entertainment, it’s hard to beat.
